We’re jumping into March with Match Madness, the Partnership for Better Health's signature matching gift program! In the past few years, you’ve helped us reach our goals to expand our youth leadership positions, hire incredible youth crews, and meaningfully engage with our community. We are reaching out again for your support to raise a total of $10,000 for our youth program! This funding will cover essential aspects such as program supplies, equipment, compensation for youth and staff, transportation, and facilities expenses. Our unique approach stands out in the region as we integrate the meaningful work of feeding our community with an intensive leadership development curriculum to foster the growth of our youth. It is the Partnership for Better Health's signature matching gift program! Every March, from the 1st - 31st, donors can support non-profit organizations like LEAF through their special donation portal.
LEAF will receive 100% of donations designated for LEAF, plus a dollar-for-dollar match on the first $1,500 raised by Partnership for Better Health and WellSpan Health, and a portion of a generous stretch pool of funds.

This year, we are looking to raise $10,000 through the Partnership for Better Health’s Match Madness campaign! LEAF’s mission is to cultivate youth leaders from diverse backgrounds through meaningful work in the food system.
Because of the incredible gift-matching funds available through Match Madness, a $125 gift could turn into $250. That $250 can do a lot of good at LEAF! $250 covers the cost of 1 week of wages for a New Crew member during their first summer at LEAF.
In that week, a young person is learning to feed their community - so empowering!
Because of our high quality produce that serves a greater mission, a family makes a decision to eat locally - having an exponential impact on the local food system that could transcend generations.
5 years from now, that same young person is now in their early 20s, navigating this new stage of life. But because of their time at LEAF, they are now equipped with a tool belt that they will use for the rest of their personal and professional lives - talk about impact!
During Match Madness, your support has the power to do so much good in our community and in the lives of our young people, for years to come.
